To solowy projekt Joanny Kuźmy, która udziela się także w indie-rockowym zespole Folder. Jako singer/songwriter akompaniuje sobie na gitarze lub na pianinie, śpiewając melodyjne i bardzo smutne piosenki. Jej przejmujący głos i pełne emocji interpretacje nasuwają skojarzenia z takimi artystkami jak PJ Harvey, Tori Amos czy Cat Power. Utwory Asi często opierają się na kilku prostych akordach. Wystarczy jednak, by Asia zaczęła śpiewać, a akompaniament (a w zasadzie całe otoczenie) przestaje mieć jakiekolwiek znaczenie.

Asia i Koty is the solo project of Joanna Kużma who is also the voice behind the indie-rock band Folder. As a singer/songwriter she accompanies herself on the guitar or the piano, singing tuneful, very sad songs. Her poignant voice and emotional interpretations are evocative of artists such as PJ Harvey, Tori Amos or Cat Power. Joanna’s songs are often based on a few simple chords. Still, as soon as she begins singing, the accompaniment (and in fact the whole surroundings) ceases to have any meaning.
